Tour de Shuls is a community event providing financial support for Jewish children with physical and cognitive disabilities through specialized programming at Camp Ramah (located about 90 miles west of Boston) and Camp Eisner (located in the heart of the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts) by providing scholarships to defray the costs of attending camp.

Camp Ramah’s Tikvah and Camp Eisner’s Chazak programs enable these campers to experience the joys and camaraderie of Jewish summer camp – swimming, soccer, arts & crafts, singing around the campfire, and celebrating Shabbat.

With your help, we will surpass the $20,000 goal for these great programs.

All levels of riders are welcome.  Ride with us individually, as a family or with a group of friends.

This year’s tour will have 2 bike routes, a run/walk route and rest stops along the route:

  • 25-mile route will be starting and finishing at The Emanuel Synagogue in West Hartford CT
  • 10-mile bike route will start and finish at Temple Sinai in Newington, CT.
  • 5K run/walk route will start and finish at Temple Sinai in Newington, CT.

Tour de Shuls is not a race.  It is a community day of fun and shared support for a great cause.

So, whether you’re an experienced cyclist, an occasional rider, or a mitzvah-minded teen we have a route that’s just right for you.

Not into riding this year, but still want join in the fun day? Run or Walk on the path.

These don’t work for you?  You can still help get the kids to camp.  Mail contribution checks payable to FJMC (include check memo line “TDS CT 2025”) to:
